About us

A different kind of health foundation.

ProVention Health Foundation was built to close the gap between what we know prevents chronic disease and what actually happens in people's lives. We combine public-private partnerships, evidence-based programs and modern technology to make prevention the default — not the exception.

Our mission

Spark innovation in public health.

We're a Georgia 501(c)(3) that partners with state agencies, employers, clinicians and community organizations to prevent chronic disease. Our work centers on the everyday behaviors — nutrition, movement, sleep, stress — that determine the majority of health outcomes and the majority of health spending.

We believe prevention is a public good. We build for it accordingly: with programs that are affordable to deliver, culturally credible, and measurable in outcomes that boards and funders can trust.

How we work

Three pillars behind everything we build.

Leveraging partnerships

We convene public agencies, private companies, clinicians and community organizations around shared prevention goals — because no single sector can bend the chronic-disease curve alone.

Creating meaningful change

We stay focused on programs and policies that produce durable behavior change and measurable health outcomes — not activity metrics that don't move the needle.

Harnessing technology

HALT360 lets us deliver CDC-recognized and evidence-based programs at population scale, on any device, with reporting your team can actually use.
